Is it time for Planet Fitness to remove their mirrors?

We see mirrors everywhere at the gym. But are these mirrors actually helping anyone? Is it possible that mirrors are doing more harm than good at your gym? In this article, we discuss how mirrors can change the affective responses from a workout to essentially make people feel worse. They may also decrease a person’s self-efficacy to exercise. If Planet Fitness wants to truly be a “judgment free zone” they need to consider removing their mirrors.
